Percieving Dance

"Perceiving Dance" is a new, free format that TANZKOMPLIZEN is developing as part of the Offensive Tanz. It is aimed at anyone who wants to know and understand more about the creation of dance pieces.

The audience meets with dance mediator Amelie Mallmann before a performance to first playfully get to know the theme of the piece and then divide into specialist groups. Each group gets a special focus or assignment, e.g. to pay attention to the stage design or the sound. The goal is to sharpen the perception and to broaden the view for the interaction of different theatrical means. After the performance, the group meets again to evaluate all observations.
