Touch is provocation. Touch is beautiful. Touch is out of place. Touch is vital. Cultures and traditions determine whether a touch is pleasant or embarrassing. Or are we the ones who determine this? We want to be seen, we want to be loved, we want to be wanted. But please don't touch it! Five actors inside explore the dilemma of modern humans: We long for touch and yet want to be protected from injury. The dancers inside allow closeness and lose control. They test their own and foreign boundaries, stumble across fat bowls and embarrassments and gently catch the audience in the end.
A cooperation between Theater Strahl and performing:group Köln. Theater Strahl is a partner of Offensive Tanz für Junges Audience Berlin. Funded by TANZPAKT Stadt-Land-Bund with funds from the Federal Government Commissioner for Culture and the Media, Ministry of Culture and Science of the State of NRW, NRW Landesbüro Freie Darstellende Künste.
