Renae Shadler & Camille Lacadée: ATELIER "Sliding, swinging, playing"
Artistic research & Discourse FRATZ International 2026
The studio is a participatory experimental space with KITA children, designed by choreographer Renae Shadler and set designer Camille Lacadée. The studio creates a fantastic world of great fabrics, movement and sound; The materials react to touch and movement and change constantly. The children are invited to discover this world in a playful way, to help shape it and to be surprised by it. Together we observe what happens when children follow their curiosity and relate to materials, movement and each other and develop their very own dance.
Renae Shadler is an Australian choreographer and dancer based in Berlin. Her work has been presented internationally, including at the PuSh Festival (CA), Tanzplattform Deutschland, Tanz im August, im Radialsystem (DE) and New Baltic Dance (LT), where her choreographic practice ‘Worlding’ explores the relationships between bodies and environments.
Camille Lacadée is a Berlin-based set designer, costume designer and trained architect working in performance and installation.
The studio is a project within the artistic research of Offensive Tanz with a focus on very young spectators.
