New project leader of Offensive Tanz
Nora Amin and Elisa Ricci take over from June 2022
We are very pleased that we were able to win Nora Amin and Elisa Ricci as new project leaders of Offensive Tanz. From June 2022, the two will take on the role of co-management, a new model that supports diversity and collaborative structures. Canan Erek, who previously held this position, devotes herself to other tasks, but remains connected to Offensive Tanz as artistic director of the project partner PURPLE Tanzfestival.
Already in April and May, the duo paves the way for their upcoming tasks by starting to strengthen the focus on equity within the offensive dance.
In the second funding period of Offensive Tanz (2022/23), equity in the sense of equality, equal opportunities and power-critical diversity is the focus of all activities – not as a one-off project or isolated practice, but as an active attitude that calls on us to ensure more justice in our actions. Working on equal access to culture, especially dance, requires that we integrate this view into every aspect of our actions as an organization.
Handing over the project management to the duo Elisa Ricci and Nora Amin takes this attitude into account and promotes the long-term development of structures critical of discrimination.
