Empty time
A poem about the premiere of “In the future I am a comet”
Three time travelers, one period ship, one crash: Unexpected arrival in a possible future. Will the world as we know it still exist? Is everything over? Is it the beginning of something new?
Our dance ambassador Valeria (14 years) saw the play “In the future I am a comet” at Theater Strahl. The performance inspired her to process her experience poetically for our blog.
If you want to learn more about the play, check out the Theater Strahl website.

Then they play pantomime What does he show? All or nothing? They dance back and forth with each other

And a blow? An electric shock you twitch and dance And in the flickering light In the hissing and straying sound they still feel the transmitted energy

Why are we here? What do we do? Do you trust me? Always the same sentences Without answer, just the question Why are we here? What do we do? Do you Trust me?

If you just have too little time The day flies away And you are under stress Then there is emptiness Is time also all or about nothing?
